A bit about Me

Hello I'm Tasha.

Yoga is my love & It's a joy to share this love with others. I am also a lover of all things outdoors, wild adventures with my family, friends & dog; climbing mountains, jumping into cold water wherever we go and generally anything that turns my hair wild and enables me to carry on wearing my Blundstone boots is where I'm most comfortable.

I've always been a nurturing soul I'm told and worked as a school counsellor and Art teacher in my previous job as a secondary school teacher. Working in a healing, therapeutic role really does suit my personality, it's where I'm most comfortable and feel I can be my natural, authentic self.

I've practised yoga for much of my adult life. Yoga has seen me through much of my life's achievements, failures, joy and sorrow. Yoga has helped me navigate my way through with a sense of grounding and connection to self.

I studied with the Classic Yoga School Scotland, completing my initial 200 hours in 2018. Since graduating I have dedicated myself to looking for the next learning opportunity and personal development. I am trained in Ashtanga & Hatha yoga and weave both styles into my own home practice & classes.

Combining yoga and the beach for me, creates a truly connective experience. Looking out to the water, seeing weather and clouds come & go, seeing the sunrise and set, or the stars start to emerge whilst moving and breathing into each asana (posture), it's just really beautiful and cultivates gratitude effortlessly.

“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is what you learn on the way down.”– Jigar Gor.
